This section provides information for researchers who wish to obtain research funding. There are various support menus for each fund, such as Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research, external research funds solicited by ministries and foundations, and awards for researchers within the university.

We provide various support systems to assist our faculty members and researchers in obtaining Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research. This section provides information on the project, which helps young researchers to obtain stable research funding over the medium to long term (7-10 years) to undertake innovative and ambitious basic research.

JST/AMED Advanced-Stage International Research Collaboration (ASPIRE)
This is a research fund that assists “international brain circulation” in which TUAT researchers who have obtained research funds and are conducting research collaborate with a highly competent laboratory(s) overseas and send or invite researchers, mainly young researchers, on a mid- to long-term basis.

The award is given to up-and-coming researchers of the University who are challenging the world’s most advanced research or pioneering unexplored fields, etc., and support is provided for their research expenses.

Please take advantage of our on-campus web bulletin board “SHIORI” to gather information on research funding. We also distribute a regular mailing list to registered users.
