Nature Research Academies International Paper Writing Workshop

[Notice of cancellation]

Due to concerns about the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we have decided to cancel the Nature Research Academies International Paper Writing Workshop. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to those who were planning to attend.
This workshop is scheduled to have a large number of participants, but since the infection route in Japan has not been clearly identified, it has been canceled from the viewpoint of ensuring the safety of all participants.
I am sure that many of you were looking forward to this workshop. If the situation becomes such that the workshop can be held more safely in the future, we would like to consider holding it separately.
Thank you for your understanding. We apologize for the short notice.

In order to strengthen the research capabilities of the University, the Division of Research and Industry-Academia Collaboration has decided to hold the “Nature Research Academies International Paper Writing Workshop” for researchers who are considering publishing their papers in international journals by utilizing the “Project for Strengthening Research Universities” subsidized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

In this workshop, a lecturer from a well-known integrated science journal (whose native language is English) will give a lecture on more effective academic writing, such as how to improve paper structure and readability.

Through this initiative, we aim to improve the ability to write in English from the perspective of the internationalization of the university, thereby promoting subsequent international joint research and increasing the number of international co-authored papers.
