The Research Area Advancement Body is an organization unique to TUAT that aims to promote research in research areas that will become important in society in the future and that should also be promoted by TUAT, in cooperation with faculty members who are conducting research in these areas across departments and other organizations, and to plan various research projects related to these areas. The purpose of this unique organization is to strategically implement the promotion of research in this area on a university-wide and strategic basis.
The Area Promotion Body shall be established under the Research and Industry-Academia Collaboration Division, and specifically, it may be established for any of the following areas
- Research areas positioned in mid-term goals, mid-term plans, or similar initiatives
- Research areas approved by the Strategic Management Council
