Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research [Support for the start of research activities]

The “Support for Starting Research Activities” supports research conducted by researchers who have just been hired by research institutions, and is expected to provide immediate research funds for these researchers. As a general rule, you can only apply once in your career as a researcher. On the other hand, researchers who have returned from maternity or childcare leave, etc., or who have lost their eligibility to apply for Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research due to their affiliation at a foreign research institution, may also be eligible if they return to their home country and become eligible for Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research again. Please check the application requirements and apply actively.
The Research and Development Center (RD Center) will provide support to those who are planning to apply for the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (Research Activity Start Support) in 2026. If you are thinking of applying, please take advantage of it.

If you are planning to apply and if you are in a position to teach young people, please join us. In addition, I think that graduate students who do not apply for this open call will also have a reference for the future or for writing other applications. We look forward to your participation.
A video of the briefing session will be posted at a later date. If you are currently affiliated with another institution but are scheduled to join our university from April and have the qualifications to apply, please let them know about this information session.
