Discussion Meeting for ASPIRE Project Management

・ Those who have the ASPIRE grants and want to get tips on their best project management

・ Those who are expanding their international research network using tools other than ASPIRE, such as WRH and JST/JSPS.

In order to drastically increase the international presence of Japan researchers, large-scale projects by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology have been launched one after another.

In addition, in response to the sudden changes in U.S. science policy, Japan has decided to invest 100 billion yen to attract overseas researchers and launched J-rise initiatve, and the movement to internationalize research activities is intensifying.

In this Discussion Meeting, Professor Otsuka, who was assigned as an international coordinator for the brain circulation in the Funakubo project, will explain a project management based on his experience. In addition, Dr. Fukumuro, URA, will explain examples of brain circulation activities outlined in the JST’s ASPIRE project report in FY2024.
