On July 10, 2025, at the ASPIRE FORUM 2025 held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Ishikawa, PD of Total Health Design, gave a lecture.

Professor Ishikawa gave a speech titled “Visionary Initiative for Health”, New Endeavor through Cross-disciplinary Effort”. Through this lecture, Total Health Design’s efforts were communicated internationally to participants, including ASPIRE league* members.

All participating countries are faced with the problem of increasing disease risk brought about by super-aging societies. In this lecture, we shared and discussed health issues that can only be understood at the bedside (by the patient’s side) across disciplines. As a specific example of what Total Health Design is working on, he also introduced the contribution of science and engineering data science and device development to “overcome malignant diseases” and “protect the health of the whole body from the oral cavity”.
