We will hold a cross-disciplinary matching event “Science Crosspoint 2025 – The Future of Research Expanding from Here”.

What is Science Crosspoint?

This is a networking event where researchers and graduate students from Tokyo University of Science can learn about each other’s research and gain new perspectives and opportunities for joint research. If you are interested in a wide range of interdisciplinary research, not limited to medical-engineering collaboration and social implementation, please join us. In conjunction with the event, we also have a fund to start new research. Please use it as a place for interdisciplinary research.

Date and time: Thursday, October 9, 2025, 17:00-19:00
Venue: Kuramae Kaikan Royal Blue Hall
Participation fee: Free
Target audience: Faculty, staff, and students of Tokyo University of Science

Event Details

  • Poster presentations by young researchers and students (doctoral students at the Graduate School of Doctoral Studies) who wish to conduct joint research will be held at exchange meetings
    , poster exhibitions and lightning talks will be held to introduce the research content (advance application is required for poster presentations)
  • Presentations (posters) by the second adoptees of the 2023 Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Tokyo Institute of Technology Matching Fund will also be scheduled.
  • In order to find the match you want, we will also hold exchange events, platform guidance, and consultations by URA.

Please note
The maximum number of poster presenters is 30. If the upper limit is reached, the organizer may select a presenter at the discretion of the organizer.

Matching Funds

The Matching Fund is a fund aimed at promoting bottom-up collaborative research within the university for young researchers at Tokyo University of Science.
We provide grants for interdisciplinary research that combines the research ideas, skills, and knowledge of researchers on campus, and for research that has excellent ideas that can be expected to develop in the future and has a specific theme.

Application start date: October 9, 2025 (Thursday) Application
deadline: November 7, 2025 (Friday)

Target: Graduate School Doctoral Program ~ Researchers Selected within
8 years of obtaining Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Applications: Up to 10 applications
Support amount: Up to 1 million yen for principal investigators and co-principal investigators
