Obtained a Ph.D. in international studies from the Graduate Institute Geneva; specializes in international political science, international relations, and disaster recovery (natural and human-made); previously with the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University and Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, conducted research on disaster recovery, focusing on the political dynamics, decision-making processes and consensus-building mechanisms among regional communities and other stakeholders. “At DLab, I am working to bridge the gap between science and society, gathering people from various backgrounds to think together on how to realize the future that we all hope for.”
