Member Introduction

After obtaining a Ph.D. (Science), I engaged in research on structural and biochemical properties of proteins at four different research institutes: Yokohama City University, RIKEN, Kyoto University, and Tokushima University. I also contributed to preparing funding applications, supervising students, and educational activities such as lectures and laboratory exercises for students. Driven by a desire to translate the outcomes of basic research into societal benefit, I later engaged in drug discovery research at a Tokyo University-launched startup. I started the current position in 2025. By being attentive to the needs of individual researchers, I aim to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and assist in securing research grants. Furthermore, I would like to contribute to strengthening the research capabilities of Science Tokyo and enhancing its contributions to society.
