Member Introduction

Received bachelor's and doctor of science degrees from Tokyo Tech's School of Science and Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering, respectively; specializes in high polymers, liquid crystals, and general analysis, covering a broad area within chemistry and materials, as well some areas of biology and energy; worked at Asahi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and as an assistant professor at Tokyo Tech; assumed current post in 2003; awarded the Innovation Coordinator Special Prize by JST in 2013. "I am very familiar with the specializations of the faculty at Tokyo Tech. I am involved in forming connections between industry and faculty, as well as in intellectual property."
