On June 10, 2025, the PD, PI, and officials of GX Frontier (PD: Professor Mika Goto) conducted a tour of the university hospital in Yushima.

GX Frontier has set the future vision of realizing a “green hospital” with a university hospital as a place to implement it.

On this tour, under the guidance of the facility staff, we toured the back of the hospital, including heat sources, air conditioning equipment, generators, and seismic isolation equipment, which are not usually visited on corporate tours.

At the opinion exchange meeting after the facility tour, many questions were asked by the participants, such as the specific energy problems faced by the hospital, past initiatives and issues, and emergency responses.

In the future, we plan to expand the number of participating PIs on tours, and based on the topics obtained from these activities, we plan to narrow down specific themes and continue to exchange opinions with hospital officials while proceeding with research projects.
